There are 6 books in this series written by Cassandra Clare, and I've actually only read the first two, but there are amazing! City of Heavenly Fire won't come out until next spring :( But no worries, 5 books gives you lots of time to wait! I love the fact that it uses mythical creatures and demons, and yes, I like those kinds of books. 

When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder -- much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing -- not even a smear of blood -- to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

Movie comes out August 21st in US. Which I NEVER see movies based on books that I've read (still haven't seen The Host and olny have seen Hunger Games once), because they ALWAYS mess something up. This time, it was casting. For the most part, they did a wonderful job! Clary is played by Lily Collins who I adore, but Jace is kinda if-ish. Isabelle, Simon, and Alec were awesomely cast, but Hodge, Madame Dorothea, Brother Jonathan, Eric, and Luke were badly cast.
